Master Your International Teamwork

Was Teilnehmende mitnehmen

"I am taking home to be more open-minded and to keep asking questions. This training solved one of my big and main problems: I had a lot of misunderstanding of the German culture. I really enjoyed playing games and the group tasks. I will adapt both. I enjoyed that Iris used games and tasks to pass the message."
Stephen Momanyi, Kenian PhD student
Universität Marburg
"This training helped me to understand other groups (nations, societies, ..) better and deeper. My main take-away is to be more tolerant of differences. I really enjoyed the game. They went really deep. I learned a lot, without thinking too much about the time. Iris is great and very well organized."
Elyas Pirasteh, Iranian Ph.D. Student
Universität Marburg
"The training was very valuable for my (work) life in Germany. It solved cultural issues. Integration with Germans and non-Germans. How to address a senior, how to write emails. The fun games shed on the issue of cultural integration and showed how to solve them, through observing others and inquiring.Frau Iris was fantastic. She is a very dynamic Trainer, and she builds the structure of this workshop very tactfully and intellectually."
Fakhta Zeib, Ph.D student
Universität Marburg
"I learned so much about the general German culture and their way of working. This is most useful for me. I never faced any problems or challenges until now, as I just arrived. But I've learned a lot that will help me to avoid further problems. I enjoyed the games and sharing experiences. This was very useful for my learning. And I very much liked the open discussion activities. Thank you, Iris!"
Bathnyambuu Dashpurev, Kenian Ph.D. Student
Universität Marburg
"I am taking home the intercultural competencies and will continue to work with them. I could better understand German culture, due to the workshop. I believe I can now solve the problems or concerns I had about German Task-Orientation and direct speech. I feel like I got new tools to better integrate myself into German society. I found the games really functional because they made me reflect on deep topics. Furthermore, I will try to adapt my emotional response toward German behavior regularly. I really enjoyed the dynamic style and the way; the trainer managed herself to make us interact with each other."
Pablo Castaldo, Ph.D. Student
Unversität Marburg
